Paint Technician Role Overview

This position collaborates closely with the Paint Process Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our painting processes. Your responsibilities will encompass checking system parameters, verifying process compliance, troubleshooting issues, and assisting the Paint Process Engineer, Production Team Leaders, and Maintenance personnel in maintaining and optimizing our paint systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside the Paint Process Engineer to support technical aspects of production painting.
  • Monitor system parameters and ensure process compliance with established standards.
  • Troubleshoot paint-related issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Assist in training and mentoring other team members on best practices for paint application.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in vehicular painting is preferred.
  • Proven proficiency in operating both manual and automatic paint equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in body repair, sanding, and taping techniques.
  • Demonstrated expertise with electrostatic spray guns.
  • Knowledge of paint parameter checking procedures.
  • Ability to pass periodic Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs).
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
