About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in program management, specifically in STEM education and workforce development. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, management, and evaluation of DoD STEM activities to ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Conduct periodic analysis and evaluation of existing policies, statutes, and guidelines related to STEM education and workforce development.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote STEM education and workforce development across the K-20 education continuum.
  • Provide program management support for the National Defense Education Program's (NDEP) STEM education, outreach, and workforce development activities.
  • Assist in the coordination and planning of OSD-led STEM activities, including engagement with Components, Labs/Centers, and their scientists and engineers.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years' recent and relevant experience in program management, specifically in STEM education and workforce development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of program and budget analysis, as well as experience in strategic communications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Prior DoD experience and knowledge of PPBE terms and processes a plus.

What We Offer:

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
