Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. As a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide professional and technical speech and language therapy to assigned patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Speech-Language Pathology Act/Rules process (evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning)
  • Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment and improve patient outcomes
  • Be accountable for your performance and take initiative for your professional growth
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and experience
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • Valid Texas License or temporary license
  • 1 year licensed SLP experience
