Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, responding to their requests and questions in a helpful and courteous manner.
  • Collect, wash, fold, and dispense towels to their required locations, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform custodial tasks to maintain the cleanliness and safety of locker rooms, including the collection of discarded towels and trash.
  • Assist in keeping assigned areas clean, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash collection, and specific upkeep and organization of the fitness or residence area.
  • Maintain awareness of the environment to report and respond to suspicious and inappropriate behavior, safety issues, and emergency situations.
  • Attend required branch and in-service trainings to stay up-to-date on best practices and policies.
  • Assist other staff members as needed, including emergency situations and community events.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Ability to perform physical tasks that require sufficient strength and agility, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing on concrete floors for extended periods, and using cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Ability to work in narrow and confining spaces, twisting, and bending.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
  • At least 18 years of age.
Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly rate: $18.24 per hour, with annual $750 holiday bonus for full-time staff. Progression steps: New Hire ($18.24 per hour), 600 hours worked ($18.74 per hour), 1400 hours worked ($19.24 per hour), and 2100 hours worked ($22.65 per hour).
