Job Summary

Ardurra Group, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Engineer I to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that improve the quality of life in our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Engineers in the design and development of roadway and highway construction contract plans using the latest CADD software.
  • Assist in the identification of construction pay items and computation of quantities and opinions of costs.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction specifications and specification packages.
  • Develop and analyze feasible design alternatives comparing parameters such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, right-of-way requirements, impacts on existing utilities, constructability, and construction cost.
  • Perform standard computations and analysis and research assignments.
  • Attend design meetings and coordinate with team members.
  • Prepare letters, memorandums, reports, spreadsheets, power point presentations, and project schedules.
  • Document design decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Engineer Intern Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months from date of hire.
  • 0-2 years of experience.
  • Some experience with CADD software is preferred.
