Job Title: Better Banking Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Better Banking Specialist to join our team at Westfield Bank. As a key member of our retail banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, promoting bank products and services, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and professional service to new and existing customers
  • Apply the Westfield Bank Service and Sales Process during customer interaction to acquire and enhance customer relationships
  • Adhere to established Westfield Bank customer service standards
  • Provide information regarding bank products to all potential customers
  • Assist with independent performance of all teller transactions and night deposit bags
  • Maintain security of cash drawer as needed
  • Meet assigned sales goals through the sale of bank products and services
  • Open new accounts and perform account and person maintenance as needed
  • Resolve customer problems and answer inquiries

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Prior sales and customer service experience preferred

Physical Demands:

The Better Banking Specialist will be required to stand, walk, and sit frequently, with occasional reaching, bending, and lifting of up to 20 pounds. The position requires frequent handling and fingering, as well as occasional climbing, crawling, and squatting.

Working Conditions:

The Better Banking Specialist will work in a fast-paced retail banking environment, with frequent customer interactions and a high level of customer satisfaction expected.
