**About the Position:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Chemical Engineer to join our team at SAIC. As a Senior Chemical Engineer, you will lead the development of technology investment roadmaps focused on the design and testing of distributed, scalable, low energy approaches to the synthesis of chemical building blocks for vital military supplies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering, with experience in leading complex projects and developing innovative solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and develop strategies to address emerging challenges.

This is a hybrid remote position with onsite work located in Arlington, VA. We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage plans according to calculated benchmarks and milestones.
  • Utilize mathematical and statistical techniques to build out performance goals for S&T advancement in service to military mission constraints.
  • Document use cases, manage measurements and data, interface with key study teams, experimentation and testing teams, and contribute information to modeling and assessment teams.

Requirements:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering or related field and 14+ years' experience, or MS in Chemical Engineering or related field and 12+ years' experience.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • US Citizenship.
