You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and develop individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Orient patients and families to the purpose and procedures of therapy evaluation and treatment.
  • Document patient information, including precautions, orders, and initial plan of care.
  • Select and perform evaluation and treatment methods based on patient age, diagnosis, symptoms, and physician orders.
  • Coordinate treatment schedules with disciplines and participate in inter-disciplinary team development and documentation of discharge plans.
  • Document patient response to treatment and progress.
  • Identify significant changes in patient condition and take appropriate actions.

Certifications:

  • Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) certification from the North Dakota State Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Hand Therapist - Certified certification from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission within 12 months of start date.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of start date.

Working Conditions:

  • Indoor work environment.
  • Occasional driving required.
