Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at TESCO - The Eastern Specialty Company. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing devices, test stations, systems, and equipment in support of our product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with all departments in the organization to ensure consistent and timely execution of assigned testing and design tasks.
  • Analyze complex systems, devices, and circuits and quickly identify and rectify problems.
  • Create and modify existing electronic documentation, including AutoCAD and Solidworks designs.
  • Conceptualize, design, document, build, and test assigned test fixtures, devices, or systems.
  • Design mechanical enclosures, structures, and bracketry for new products and make-to-order systems.
  • Ensure designs are cost-effective and can be efficiently manufactured.
  • Communicate with customers for field troubleshooting of TESCO equipment and provide written and oral presentations on trip reports, troubleshooting cases, and technical subjects.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical product and system design.
  • Experience with extruded aluminum structures a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in SolidWorks modeling and design for manufacturability.
  • Experience in the Electrical Power Metering industry a plus.
  • Experience in field test equipment a plus.
  • Supervisory or management experience a plus.
