Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in managing our residential properties, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant files, ensuring compliance with HPD requirements.
  • Assist with the unit turnover process, including new leases and lease renewals.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Department to resolve unit conditions, repairs, and life safety issues.
  • Manage rent collection and financial reconciliations, maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare and distribute lease renewal notices and other essential documents.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A comprehensive understanding of property management practices, particularly in not-for-profit settings.
  • An Associate degree or High school diploma/GED, accompanied by at least two years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and extensive knowledge of Yardi software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive work environment.

Salary: $33.15 per hour, based on industry standards and location factors.
