About the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Program

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Psychologist with expertise in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to join our team at St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI). As a DBT specialist, you will work with adult and/or adolescent patients, providing individual and group therapy sessions. Our clinicians enjoy the independence of being an independent provider while having the administrative support to manage their practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide DBT therapy sessions to adult and/or adolescent patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for case consultation and continuing education
  • Participate in weekly DBT consultation group and training seminars
About the Role

This is a full-time position with a base salary guarantee and benefits package. Our clinicians have the opportunity to tailor their caseloads to their expertise and competencies. We offer a centralized intake office, efficient billing service, marketing support, and assistance with managed care and credentialing.

Onboarding Options

We offer a full-time base salary guarantee transitional plan, typically four months, to allow new providers time to build their caseload. For Licensed Providers who need additional training within their program's area of specialization, we offer a Specialist-in-Training model, typically six months, with reduced minimum caseload, weekly supervision, and didactic sessions.
