Job Title: Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health - 212. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting initial assessments and intake interviews to assess clients' mental health diagnoses and needs. You will develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge. Additionally, you will provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy sessions, utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions to help clients reach their therapeutic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews to assess clients' mental health diagnoses and needs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
  • Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy sessions.
  • Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions to help clients reach their therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with a forward-thinking team to provide holistic care.
  • Complete ongoing documentation and maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and weekly 1:1s.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed to practice in CA (Associates, please have at least 2400 hours) - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent.
  • Being credentialed with insurance payors is a plus but not required.
  • Being able to bring clients with you is a big plus, but not required.
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Proven experience in mental health counseling or therapy completing treatment plans, diagnosing, and maintaining ongoing documentation.
  • Appropriate boundaries with clients and colleagues and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High cultural competence and ability to work with diverse client populations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant) is a plus.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base yearly salary range of $65,000-$80,000 (depending on qualifications and total client caseload), medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with matching potential, unlimited paid time off, and a hybrid work environment. As a salaried employee, you are expected to work a 40-hour week, with a minimum of 25 hours dedicated to face-to-face client work and 15 hours dedicated to areas including, but not limited to, client care, chart maintenance, meetings, outreach, social media, presentations, and training.
