Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Gotham Enterprises LTD. Job Summary:

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for conducting one-on-one and group therapy sessions, assessing client histories, and determining appropriate treatment options in consultation with clients and other mental health professionals. You will also consult with our Clinical Director to develop and facilitate program activities that ensure an optimal therapeutic experience for all patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct therapy sessions and create individualized treatment plans based on client needs and circumstances.
  • Collaborate with psychiatric providers and other clinical staff to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and contribute to the development of program activities.
  • Evaluate and document client progress, including the effectiveness of therapy interventions and patient responses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Active California state licensure as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
  • Knowledge of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches, including cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
