Position Overview

Are you proficient in both English and Creole? Do you possess a background in interpretation? LTC Language Solutions is seeking contracted Creole language facilitators to provide interpretation services. This role involves accepting assignments on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in interpretation across various environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site, face-to-face interpretation services.
  • Act as a communication bridge using the client's preferred language.
  • Ensure accurate interpretation tailored to the context and audience.
  • Adhere to all applicable state, local, and federal regulations regarding the privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • Preferred interpreting certifications.
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical interpretation.
  • A minimum of 3 years of overall interpreting experience.
  • Capability to maintain precise records.

As an Independent Contractor Interpreter, you will operate as a vendor, providing language interpretation services on a 1099 basis.
