Job Summary:

St. Francis Area Schools is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an SLP in our district, you will be part of a collaborative team of 10 SLPs working together to meet the needs of our students. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive special education team and have access to mentorship and professional learning communities. Our district is committed to providing a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction to students in the areas of speech and communication as outlined in their IEPs. Consult with other staff members on the successful implementation of communication strategies and assistive devices within the educational setting. Complete speech/communication assessments on identified students. Complete written documents related to speech services (IEPs, Evaluation Reports, Progress Reports, etc.). Attend and sometimes facilitate IEP meetings for assigned students. Provide case management services for assigned students. Complete Third Party Billing documentation for MA eligible students.

Requirements:

Minnesota Teacher Licensure as an Educational Speech Language Pathologist. This position requires that the candidate have their Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language. Candidates will be considered who are eligible to obtain a Certificate of Clinical Competence.
