Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize a consultative approach to build strong customer relationships and identify financial needs.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and services to recommend tailored solutions.
- Proactively engage with customers through various channels, including CAMP and marketing tools, to set appointments for financial reviews.
- Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities, such as business sales calls and community events.
- Collaborate with business partners to provide holistic financial solutions and refer customers as needed.
- Meet or exceed customer experience and production goals, driving revenue growth and enhancing the Financial Center P&L.
- Provide guidance to customer service representatives on sales and referral processes.
- Promote customer satisfaction with a friendly, professional demeanor and maintain confidentiality.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures, including those related to risk mitigation and fraud prevention.
- Participate in the consumer loan and bankcard process, owning sourced loans from application through closing.
- Support the opening and closing of Financial Centers or Bank Marts as directed by the Financial Center Manager.
Requirements:
- College degree or equivalent work experience, or a combination of both.
- Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a comfort level with sales activities and advanced math functions.
- Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally in terms of appearance and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a working knowledge of retail policies and procedures.
- S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System is required.
Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment with extended computer screen use.
- Travel within the affiliate for training and scheduling flexibility is required.
- Travel outside of the affiliate for classroom training sessions may be necessary.
