Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Gardener to join our team at City & Estate Gardener. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and integrity of our outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Grounds Maintenance: Perform a variety of tasks to maintain the grounds, including mowing, planting, watering, weeding, raking, flower planting, and bed mulching.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Past experience as a landscaper/groundskeeper is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 50+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time.
  • Work Environment: Willing to work in all weather elements.
  • Driver's License: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
Work Schedule:

Typical work hours are 45+ hours per week, with Saturday work only as needed due to weather. The season runs from March to December, with field staff laid off at the end of December due to lack of work and eligible to collect unemployment.
