We are looking for a skilled Landscape Gardener to join our team
You will maintain grounds by performing a variety of tasks, including mowing, planting, watering, weeding, raking, flower planting, and bed mulching with the goal of creating beautiful and well-groomed outdoor spaces for our customers.

We primarily serve the beautiful East Side of Providence. We provide full service landscape maintenance to many high quality residential sites.

You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Past experience as a landscaper is preferred and a positive attitude is a must

The Job is currently scheduled to start March 17th but may change due to weather


Responsibilities:
  • Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes
  • Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws
  • Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans
  • Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws
  • Gather and remove litter
  • Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
Qualifications:

  • Past experienced as a landscaper/groundskeeper preferred
  • Enjoys working
  • Enjoys making landscape beautiful
  • Takes pride in their work
  • Experience with the use of small power equipment
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 50+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time
  • Willing to work in all weather elements
  • Valid Driver license with clean driving record.
  • We will not not consider anyone that does not have a valid Drivers License
  • Ability to drive a 1 ton dump and 14' trailer
Typical Day is 7am -530pm
Typical hours are 45+ hours
Saturday work only as needed due to weather
Season is March - December. At the end of December field staff is laid off due to lack of work and they are eligible to collect unemployment
