Medical Professional Wanted for Alaska Hospitalist Role

ICON Medical Network is seeking a highly skilled Medical Professional to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska. This is an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Internist and Family Medicine Physician to work as a Locum tenens Hospitalist in a 250-bed hospital with an open ICU.
The successful candidate will have the ability to prescribe medications and will be required to collaborate with other healthcare professionals. They must also possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The role involves working on a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances. In addition to their clinical skills, they must also possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
**Estimated Salary:** $250,000 - $350,000 per year
**About the Facility:** The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offers a range of services, including critical care and emergency medicine. The ICU has 10 beds and requires consults for all patients. The average daily census is 60, and the staffing mix includes physicians and APPs.
**Requirements:** To be considered for this role, applicants must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine and hold a valid Alaska medical license. They must also have a clean background and malpractice insurance.
**Certifications and Licenses:** ATLS certification is required, and DEA registration is also necessary. Applicants must be willing to undergo credentialing and privileging within 60-90 days of starting employment.
