As a Cath Lab Technologist PRN at Alaska Regional Hospital, you will be part of a dedicated team that delivers exceptional patient care and experiences.

The role requires a highly skilled and compassionate professional who can aid with all invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining clinical competency, exercising sound judgment, teaching skills, and providing quality patient care.

You will work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care, using effective communication and appropriate SBAR process for hand-off communication.

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for testing and therapeutics in the Cath lab, including procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic/interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural Heart (LAAC, TAVR) procedures.

Additionally, you will assist patients through all aspects of the procedure, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis following removal of catheter or sheath, and return to room. You will also manage emergent cases and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering, or primary science. A recent graduate of an accredited cardiovascular program is preferred, along with American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification, and American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire.

We offer a competitive salary of $62,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as comprehensive medical coverage, dental and vision benefits, life and disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, and education assistance.
