This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the loss prevention efforts in our stores. As a Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience while also maintaining a strong partnership with store teams and loss prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers
- Engage customers, providing support and creating a positive shopping environment
- Provide an effective deterrent to theft through customer engagement and a professional and knowledgeable presence
- Observe accurate checkout procedures for customers and associates
- Communicate shrink-related concerns to Store Management and Loss Prevention
- Maintain an effective partnership with Store Management and Loss Prevention to accomplish work assignments and overall goals and objectives
- Coordinate and complete shrink-related activities in partnership with Store Management
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs
- Promote a culture of honesty and integrity; maintain confidentiality
- Encourage associate use of shrink reduction resources
- Promote safety awareness and support maintenance of a safe environment
- Follow through on commitments; accomplish goals with minimum supervision
- Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and good judgment
- Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Standout colleague, working effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
- 0-2 years retail or security experience
