Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Community & Animal Support department, ensuring exceptional service and care for customers and animals. The CASA Supervisor reports to the Community, Animal Support, & Fields Services Manager and collaborates with teams to deliver high-quality care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and manage staff to provide exceptional customer service and animal care.
  • Maintain accurate animal records and prepare monthly reports.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify new adoption marketing opportunities and intake diversion strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet short and long-term goals.
  • Ensure proper inventory controls for purchasing, storage, and tracking of supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate compassion towards people and pets, building strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Value others' input and skills, involving them in critical thinking and decision-making.
  • Ensure quality services and experiences are provided to shelter clients, visitors, staff, and volunteers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two years customer service experience required.
  • Proficiency in a second language is preferred but not required.
Working Conditions
