Electron Microscope Assembler

About the Role:
Bruker Nano Inc is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler II to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assembling precision mechanical assemblies for electron sources operating at up to 200 kV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect quality of incoming parts
- Assemble mechanical and electrical parts and sub-assemblies
- Occasionally perform light machine shop duties such as operating drills, sanders, and material cutting equipment
- Maintain good house-keeping and organization of work area
- Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
- Cleans and maintains equipment, including tools
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
Requirements:
- AA degree or higher required, training will be provided
- Assembly experience is a plus
- Being able to read, understand, and follow detailed engineering drawings and process specifications is a strong plus
- High degree of hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and ask for guidance when appropriate
- Must be reliable and commit to a consistent schedule
- Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate
- Ability to work well with others
What We Offer:
Bruker Nano Inc offers a competitive salary range of $65,020 to $89,000, depending on education, training, experience, and location. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive and a full range of benefits.
