OBJECTIVE: To contribute effectively and adhere to established procedures, directives, and quality benchmarks within the designated production area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute production activities efficiently in assigned areas, including but not limited to palletizing, depalletizing, case packing, sealing, blending, bagging, reworking, sanitation, inspections, and manual assembly.
- Maintain production pace as required by operational demands.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene protocols.
- Understand and follow both verbal and written instructions, and be receptive to feedback.
- Adapt to various production zones as assigned.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate production requirements, such as material needs, quality issues, or safety concerns, to relevant team members or supervisors.
- Capable of standing for the duration of the shift and lifting, twisting, bending, stooping, pushing, and carrying items up to 15 pounds.
- Possess visual acuity to evaluate quality standards and material condition.
- Some tasks may necessitate the ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds, work at elevated heights, and perform activities requiring manual dexterity, along with basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Comply with the guidelines outlined in the employee handbook.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
This job description outlines the primary duties and responsibilities associated with this position. Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor. Employees are expected to demonstrate flexibility in their work hours and assignments. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful completion of a Vocational Rehabilitation Program, High School diploma/GED, relevant work experience, or as determined by a qualified representative.
