Job Title: Commercial Laundry Equipment Installer

Company: Alliance Laundry Systems

Overview: As a vital member of our Service team, the Installer is tasked with the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial laundry machinery for a diverse clientele, ensuring compliance with our quality standards and operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the installation, repair, and start-up of equipment and components, adhering to company protocols and safety regulations to guarantee client satisfaction.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by accurately diagnosing equipment issues and providing guidance on usage following installation.
  • Support routine preventive maintenance of machinery and components, including managing the procurement of necessary parts.
  • Document detailed reports outlining the work performed.
  • Assist in disassembling machinery for maintenance or repair tasks.
  • Engage in parts ordering and inventory oversight.
  • Travel to client sites using a company vehicle for on-site repairs, troubleshooting, and installations.
  • Communicate any escalations to the Service Manager, contributing to ongoing process enhancements.
  • Perform additional tasks essential for the smooth operation of the department.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the repair of commercial, military, industrial, or manufacturing equipment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with single-phase electric power equipment is essential.
  • Experience with customer support via telephone and email/ticketing systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude; adept at identifying, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Resilient and adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and self-motivated approach.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel will be limited to the designated service area.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position involves various physical activities, including sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record are required.
