Position Summary:

We are on the lookout for a proficient Equipment Maintenance Technician to become a part of our workforce at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will be tasked with executing regular maintenance and repairs on a variety of machinery, including forklifts and vehicles. This position requires working in both indoor and outdoor environments to guarantee that all equipment functions safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct repairs and overhauls on ground support machinery
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions
  • Implement preventative maintenance measures
  • Ensure a tidy and secure work environment

Qualifications:

  • Possession of personal tools is essential
  • Demonstrated reliability in attendance and punctuality
  • Commitment to safety practices
  • Proficiency in English is required
  • Capability to work under various weather conditions
  • Dependable transportation is necessary
  • Successful completion of drug screening and background verification
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or with forklifts is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Yale Forklifts is a plus
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a GSE Mechanic is preferred

Work Schedule: Standard hours are from 07:00 to 15:30, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of weekend shifts for emergencies.
