Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment and components, adhering to company protocols and safety regulations to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by accurately diagnosing equipment issues and providing clear recommendations and guidance on usage after installation.
  • Assist in routine preventive maintenance tasks, including managing parts orders and ensuring timely replacements.
  • Document detailed reports outlining the work performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to disassemble equipment for necessary maintenance or repairs.
  • Participate in inventory management and parts ordering processes.
  • Travel to client locations using a company vehicle for on-site repairs, troubleshooting, and installations.
  • Communicate any escalations to the Service Manager, contributing to ongoing process enhancements.
  • Perform any additional tasks required for the efficient operation of the department.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the repair of commercial, military, industrial, or manufacturing equipment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with single-phase electric power equipment is essential.
  • Experience with customer support through telephone and email/ticketing systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude; adept at identifying, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Resilient and adaptable to changes in the work environment.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and self-motivated approach.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel will be limited to the designated service territory.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position involves various physical activities, including sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record are required.
