Job Summary

The American Association of Motor Vehicles is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our technical team in the development and implementation of software solutions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and guidance to our software engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and the growth of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical direction and guidance to software engineers
    • Ensure the successful delivery of projects
    • Develop and implement software solutions
  • Team Management
    • Manage and direct a team of software engineers
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
    • Develop and implement team processes and procedures
  • Cloud Native Development
    • Develop and implement cloud native applications
    • Ensure the scalability and reliability of software solutions
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership
  • Experience in cloud native development and deployment
  • Strong technical skills in.NET, C#, and Azure
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science or related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Experience with UI technologies such as Angular
  • Experience with design patterns and system architectural concepts
