Compensation: $30-$50/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm, hybrid arrangement with on-site presence 3 to 4 times a week
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 1-3 years of experience in a Laboratory Information System (LIS) support capacity
- Experience with instrument management systems such as DI, Beekman, Abot, etc.
- Comprehensive understanding of laboratory documentation processes
- Proven project management skills
Role Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a Laboratory Information System Analyst to support one of our healthcare partners in New Jersey. The selected candidate will engage with laboratory information systems, focusing on the following responsibilities:
- Assisting laboratory personnel with monitoring orders and resolving LIS instrument challenges
- Managing electronic medical record (EMR) components, test orders, and order codes
- Configuring interfaces and overseeing system upgrades
- Maintaining accurate lab documentation and preparing reports
This role requires collaboration with the Lab Director, Applications Specialists, and the Director of Applications. Daily tasks will include:
- Facilitating the implementation of LIS
- Ensuring compliance with College of American Pathology (CAP) standards
- Coordinating with application and instrument vendors to integrate new systems
- Providing support for hardware, software, and operational issues
- Offering leadership and guidance on system and software updates
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.
