At Alliance One Inc., we're seeking a seasoned UX Research Consultant to join our Frontline Technology Strategy User Experience (UX) team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in conceptualizing and designing UX for employee-facing software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research studies to identify user needs and preferences, and develop personas to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate corporate brand standards and international accessibility guidelines into design solutions.
  • Present design recommendations to agile pod members and stakeholders, and sometimes to senior management for sponsorship support.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to set a vision for projects, including framing problems to be solved and defining criteria for project success.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8+ years of UX design experience, with at least 4+ years of hands-on UX research experience.
  • Team or project lead experience is ideal.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within constraints and challenge organizational context when necessary.
