Key Responsibilities
  • Visualize ideas using professional design tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to rapidly work through ideation and move to the next stage
  • Initiate and respond to ideas for innovation/improvements based on research, analysis, and competitive reviews
  • Identify user needs and business requirements, and substantiate design approach with analysis & projections for improvements
  • Ensure digital customer touch points become and remain consistent with user experience and brand standards, and develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions
  • Drive the design of next generation, navigation schemes, patterns, components and templates across the company's products, insuring a consistent, appealing, and dynamic customer experience
Requirements
  • 5+ years professional UX design experience
  • 8+ years professional UX design experience preferred
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience required
  • Solid grasp of web design principles and a good understanding of front-end web technologies required
  • Excellent understanding of user experience design for the Web, mobile, and touch devices required
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision required
  • Experience in writing detailed design specifications (IA, work flow, page functionality and layout, etc.), which technology developers use to build the product required
  • Must be a self-starter that can create schedules and define scope of work even when there are no clear requirements and direction required
  • Strong ability to communicate your design, defend your design decisions, and respond quickly to business needs required
  • Proven ability to set the design direction for your projects and to collaborate with other designers working in the space required
  • A team player who can easily adapt in a rapidly changing environment required
