We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Avenue5 Residential. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day maintenance operations and physical upkeep of our properties are conducted to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and coordinate maintenance tasks, including service requests and unit make-ready standards.
- Review and track progress of service requests and identify chronic maintenance issues.
- Respond to maintenance-related issues in a timely manner, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Perform various maintenance functions, including repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
- Conduct daily inspections of property grounds, buildings, and common area amenities to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
- Oversee and assist with management of property emergencies, such as snow and other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods.
- Promptly communicate with maintenance supervisor and property manager concerning all maintenance issues at the property.
- Observe and promote safety and risk management in accordance with local, federal, state, and company rules and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least three years of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
- General maintenance and carpentry skills.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and perform basic mathematical functions.
