Job Summary

Central EMS is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. As an EMT, you will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls, providing medical services to the community, and transporting patients to medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive emergency vehicles to respond to calls and transport patients.
  • Provide medical care and assistance to patients, including administering medications and performing procedures.
  • Restock medical equipment and supplies in the ambulance and at the station.
  • Clean and maintain the ambulance and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest medical techniques and protocols.
Requirements
  • CPR certification for healthcare providers.
  • State-level Emergency Medical Technician Basic license.
  • National Registration for Emergency Medical Technician Level license.
Working Conditions

The EMT will work in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergency calls and transporting patients to medical facilities. The job requires the ability to work in a team environment, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.

The EMT will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. The job also requires the ability to lift and move patients, as well as work in a physically demanding environment.
