Responsibilities:

The Paramedic, under the supervision of the Professional Registered Nurse and/or Physician, is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining a safe environment, and educating patients and their families. This role involves collecting information, communicating effectively, and utilizing technology to facilitate age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of health care services and tasks.
• Provide patient advocacy, teaching, performance improvement, and oversight of unlicensed personnel.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Required:
High school graduate or equivalent

Minimum Experience Required:
None

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required:
Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of Georgia required, National Registry preferred

Additional Qualifications:
BLS. Must be ACLS certified, or be able to become certified immediately.
