OVERVIEW

A Food Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for our quick-service dining operations. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service to our guests with warmth, efficiency, and precision. The position offers a unique chance to engage in various functions within the food and beverage sector, contributing significantly to our operational success.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers friendly, high-quality, and authentic hospitality to every guest.
  • Welcomes guests, processes orders, prepares, and serves menu items according to established protocols.
  • Exhibits a thorough understanding of the menu and offerings, including dietary and allergen considerations.
  • Manages cash register operations, processing payments accurately and providing change as necessary.
  • Prepares food and beverages throughout the day, proactively responding to guest demand.
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in accordance with health department regulations.
  • Follows recipes precisely while adhering to food and beverage preparation standards.
  • Completes food and beverage preparation tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Executes opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
  • Restocks and replenishes food, beverages, paper goods, and utensils as required.
  • Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment following sanitation guidelines.
  • Adheres to sanitation standards, including washing cookware and utensils throughout the day.
  • Assists in setting up and breaking down events and resort functions.
  • Performs additional duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
  • 6 months of prior experience in food and beverage service
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Capacity to work in varying temperatures due to outdoor responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
  • Basic computer skills, including email and internet usage
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work during non-standard hours for events
