Job Title: Process Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Design Engineer to join our team at Pro-Tech Staffing Services. As a Process Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and design solutions that optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the end-to-end design of new manufacturing processes, ensuring timely and budget-friendly implementation.
  • Work with product development teams to design production processes that meet new product specifications, ensuring manufacturability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop processes that comply with industry regulations and company standards, conducting regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement, such as Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma projects, promoting a culture of innovation and efficiency within the production team.
  • Provide technical support to production teams by diagnosing and resolving process-related issues quickly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field).
  • 2-4 years of experience in process design or engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of process design, improvement, and manufacturing methods.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage small projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Good communication skills for working with team members and presenting ideas.
