Join Astro Pak, the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor, as a Process Engineer in our Engineering Services team. We specialize in on-site cleaning of high purity fluid and gas systems, as well as precision cleaning of components and hardware at our Cleanroom facilities.

Job Summary

The Process Engineer provides engineering and technical services to Astro Pak colleagues, including conceptualization of project scopes, training, creating, and modifying procedures, and on-demand engineering support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and engineer project scopes, procedures, and technical support for Sales and Operations teams.
  • Review and analyze communications, files, and client information to prepare project conceptualizations.
  • Participate in internal and external reviews and meetings to provide technical advice and support.
  • Train and mentor colleagues on procedures, technical writing, and process design.
  • Provide engineering support for ongoing projects, including markup flow paths and job walks.
  • Participate in field and facility audits to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred) with relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical cleaning, process design, or process construction.
  • Experience in technical writing, process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and high purity cleaning.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • 30hr OSHA certification preferred.
Working Conditions

The Process Engineer will work in an office environment with occasional travel to client sites. The role requires standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands and fingers. The employee may be exposed to dust, fume, smoke, toxic chemicals, and disagreeable odors.
