Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cable Assembler to join our team at Aerotek. As a Cable Assembler, you will be responsible for performing various duties such as locating and shrinking marker bands on cable assemblies, detecting and reporting defective materials or unusual conditions to the Supervisor, and organizing materials and tooling necessary for work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual operations such as handling small hand crimping tools, cutters, and heat guns
  • Assemble multi-cable harnesses
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
  • 1+ years of Electrical assembly experience
  • 6+ months experience working with hand tools
  • Experience with soldering and cable assemblies
  • Ability to perform detailed manual assembly operations
  • Manual dexterity
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication
  • Teamwork
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Work Environment

The position operates in a climate-controlled environment. The role starts on a 1st shift schedule from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with eligibility for overtime.
