We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team at Access Bank. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of mortgage loans, from application to closing.
Key Responsibilities- Loan Processing: Review and verify loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Credit Analysis: Assess the creditworthiness of borrowers, identifying potential risks and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.
- Collateral Management: Ensure the bank's collateral position is properly protected, including ordering and reviewing credit and insurance reports, flood zone determinations, and title searches.
- Communication: Provide exceptional customer service, communicating with borrowers, mortgage loan officers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient loan processing.
- Compliance: Maintain knowledge of and adherence to all relevant bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance or business.
- Experience: 6 years of experience in mortgage lending, with a strong background in credit analysis and collateral management.
- Certifications: Registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry as a mortgage loan originator.
- Skills: Intermediate knowledge of mortgage loan origination, underwriting, documentation, and processing; excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to develop marketing and business development skills with customers.
