Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Databricks Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering tools like Azure Data pipelines, Azure Data factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks, Delta Lake, Python, SQLServer, and experience with Azure Cloud.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing solutions on Databases like Hadoop, SQLServer, Oracle, Azure Synapse, and will be able to optimize Azure Synapse database performance. They will also have experience with building, tuning data pipelines on Spark, Cloud native tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and ETL tools.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate experience in both batch and stream ingestion of data from source databases like SQLServer, Oracle, MySQL, and other RDBMS based databases. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with business teams, dev teams, and coming up with designs to deliver data solutions with best practices and standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping in the migration from Synapse to Databricks and will have a strong understanding of the need for both batch and stream ingestion of data.
