Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Specialist

Soliant, a leading provider of speech therapy services, seeks a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in Newark, California.
About the Role:We are currently conducting interviews and hiring for the remainder of the school year. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will provide high-quality speech and language services to students with communication disorders, evaluate and diagnose these conditions, and develop effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify areas of improvement
- Create personalized treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Deliver speech and language therapy sessions in both one-on-one and group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
- Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders
Requirements:
- A valid California State SLP License is required, along with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - 110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and regional cost of living considerations.
