Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team as an Account Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for growing our business within the Oilfield Chemical market by developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed budgeted growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed budgeted growth targets

• Identify and advance opportunities for strategic product lines

• Facilitate resolution to supply and delivery issues when necessary and ensure accurate pricing for customer invoices

• Coordinate Global Account activities for customers operating in multiple countries

• Negotiate new contracts in coordination with management

• Develop a strong understanding of customer's business, including goals and challenges through execution of meetings with a focus on technical interface

• Maintain call reports and opportunity pipeline utilizing Salesforce

• Prepare annual budget and maintain sales forecast

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Stepan's products and resources, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations to have the ability to present a compelling value proposition to the customer

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the Oil industry

• Excellent verbal and written communications along with strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently from a remote home office

• Outstanding problem solving and organizational skills

• High level of motivation and initiative

• Willingness to travel

• Oilfield chemicals experience preferred

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Required
