We are proud to partner with a reputable law firm in Coral Gables, FL, to find a skilled Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team. Our client is committed to excellence and innovation, and we are dedicated to identifying top talent to support their success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to litigation attorneys, including calendar management, scheduling appointments, and arranging meetings.
  • Assist with drafting and formatting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with all filing requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, and court personnel, both orally and in writing.
  • Conduct legal research as needed, retrieving case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing litigation matters.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring accurate and organized storage of legal documents and correspondence.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, coordinating witness schedules, and preparing trial notebooks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in a litigation practice.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, including e-filing systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality work.
  • Must be able to work on-site at our client's office location in Coral Gables, FL.
