We are seeking a skilled Contract Analyst to join our team at Russell Tobin & Associates. As a Contract Analyst, you will play a crucial role in drafting and issuing Group Life insurance policies and certificates, ensuring compliance with internal standards and guidelines.
### Key Responsibilities
* Draft and issue Group Life insurance policies and certificates through the analysis of client policies, plan design, and state-approved policy forms
* Amend Group Life insurance policies and certificates as needed
* Serve as a subject matter expert for Group Life product policy-related questions, advising on policy-specific language, provisions, structure, form, and state requirements
* Collaborate with clients, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate results
* Work on team projects, such as process improvements, policy rewrites, and transitions to different products and paper
* Provide creative, compliant solutions and independently resolve any issues, questions, or areas of ambiguity
### Qualifications
* 1-2 years of experience in the Group Life Insurance industry, with a strong understanding of products, standards, forms, and filing
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to read and understand legal form structure and meaning
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively translate complex language
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, HotDocs, and Adobe, with the ability to learn specialized software
* Experience working with Securian Financial Insurance policies is a plus
