About the Job

In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing our optical operations, providing expert guidance to customers, and driving store sales. If you're a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for the eyewear industry, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service:
    • Work directly with customers to understand their eyewear needs and provide tailored solutions.
    • Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and execute these details with precision and attention to detail.
    • Use your expertise to explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers, ensuring they feel confident and informed in their purchasing decisions.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor the Optical team, including participants of our Optician Apprentice Program, to ensure they're equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and meet store goals.
    • Work closely with store management to develop and implement strategies to drive store sales and growth.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting open communication and a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states) with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and development, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Compensation and Benefits
