About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Education Marketing Specialist to join our team at The Goddard School in Watertown. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supporting teachers in developing and implementing core and enrichment curriculum. They will also support and/or create class and enrichment schedules, maintain appropriate staffing levels, and lead or support with teacher observations, training, coaching, and orientation.

In addition, the ideal candidate will advance physical and intellectual competence by adapting program activities to meet the individual needs of the children. They will communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff members, provide positive guidance by supporting social and emotional development, establish positive and productive relationships with families, and understand and implement Goddard's Health & Safety procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A 2 or 4-year degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (will consider relevant experience and/or management experience)
  • A current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching Credential, and an additional 12 semester hours or continuing education units in courses related to young children birth to age 8 and 2 years (3120 clock hours) of experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool, and 1 year of management experience
  • Management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool
  • Minimum of 18 ECE credits
