About the Role:

Diedre Moire Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Tax Attorney to join our team as a Mergers and Acquisitions Tax Attorney. As a key member of our corporate tax team, you will be responsible for providing tax advice and guidance on complex mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax advice and guidance on mergers and acquisitions transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and deal execution
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize value for clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including corporate development, finance, and legal, to ensure seamless execution of transactions
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including senior management and board members

Requirements:

  • LLM in Taxation or equivalent experience
  • JD and CPA or MBA
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions tax
  • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, including US federal and state tax laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
