Field Service Engineer, Central NY

Carestream Health Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Central NY. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining digital X-ray systems at customer sites. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a positive impact on the medical imaging industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain digital X-ray systems at customer sites
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service and support
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging or electronics industry
- Knowledge of computers and networking
- Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate: $31.50-$42.00

Work Environment:
This position involves working in hospitals and critical care imaging centers, as well as remote work from a home office location. The average driving time is 1-4 hours daily, and occasional overnight stays may be required.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lifting or carrying items over 70 pounds.
