Job Summary

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students' communication needs in a school environment throughout the entire academic year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs): Create and manage tailored education programs for students with speech and language impairments, ensuring their unique needs are met.
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments and Deliver Targeted Therapy: Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of improvement and deliver targeted therapy to help students achieve their communication goals.
  • Collaborate with Educational Staff and Families: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy objectives into classroom activities and support students' overall educational success.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Keep detailed records of therapy sessions, student progress, and communication with stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and informed decision-making.
  • Participate in Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Related Field: Possess a graduate degree in speech-language pathology or a related field, such as communication disorders or special education.
  • Valid SLP License or Certification: Hold a valid SLP license or certification in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Previous Experience in a School Setting: Preferably, have previous experience working in a school setting, although not mandatory.
  • Strong Communication and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, families, and educational staff, as well as strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively: Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
