Job Description:

Pediatric Minds is a leading provider of high-quality, evidence-based services for children with Autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, behavioral and emotional challenges, ADHD, developmental delays, and other conditions.

We are seeking a part-time Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessments, treatment plans, and communication with other professionals and parents.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's communication skills
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication goals
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including psychologists, occupational therapists, and teachers, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's care
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology

Requirements:

  • Current California license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • 1+ years of experience working with pediatric populations
  • Experience conducting assessments, writing treatment plans, and communicating with other professionals and parents
  • Interest or experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is preferred
